by Darley Newman

For the first time ever, we teamed up with Bayer Animal Health to give away the chance to star on Equitrekking on TV. The prize is part of the Bayer Animal Health Legend of the Year Award and the winners were announced over the weekend.

Congratulations to the winner of the second annual Bayer Animal Health Legend of the Year Award, Dr. Tanja Molby! The Bayer Animal Health Legend of the Year Award recognizes veterinary professionals who provide equitarian aid or exceptional care for horses in need. The award – a $5,000 donation in Dr. Molby’s name – will go to the Michigan Equine Foundation located in Traverse City, Michigan. This award was presented to Dr. Molby at the 57th Annual Convention of the American Association for Equine Practitioners (AAEP) in San Antonio, Texas.

In addition to the veterinary winners, horse owners that nominated their veterinarians for the award were automatically entered into a sweepstakes for an equine adventure of a lifetime. The winning horse owner, equestrian Lori Odishoo of Berlin, Connecticut, will ride alongside me as our Emmy-winning global travel TV show explores Mackinac Island, Michigan for a future episode of Equitrekking.

Win an Equitrekking adventure

Lori also receives an all-expenses paid trip to Mackinac Island, dinner with me and the Equitrekking crew, a Charles Owen helmet (a $400 value) and DVD memento of your time on the show to share with family and friends.

Lori, we can't wait to meet you!
