A weekend bonding over common interests or trying something new is a great way to celebrate mom and the relationship you share. These ranches offer Mother’s Day specials for a relaxing and stress-free getaway that you’ll never forget.
Red Reflet Ranch, Wyoming
Red Refleet Ranch is offering a two-night special for Mother’s Day weekend, with the option of staying either Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday. In addition to the special two-night rate, the ranch will be having a traditional Mother’s Day brunch prepared by their executive chef, who works to ensure that almost everything on the table has been grown or raised on the ranch.
Fittingly, the ranch’s horse program is run by a mother-daughter team, Tammy Trollinger and Aften Peterson. Both women are champion barrel racers and ropers with excellent horsemanship skills to pass onto guests. The ranch accommodates all riding levels, has lots of trails to explore, and also has lessons for roping, barrel racing, and general horseback riding.
C Lazy U Ranch, Colorado

Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, Colorado
This year Sylvan Dale has a Mother’s Day bed and breakfast special with discounts for one and two night stays, May 6-7, with a hearty Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 8.
Enjoy the facilities at the ranch by taking part in tennis, shuffleboard, volleyball, and the indoor game room, or check out the blooming flowers on a wagon ride or on the hiking trails in the mountains. Guests can also take part in scenic trail rides for an additional charge.
Coffee Creek Ranch, California
Coffee Creek Ranch located in the Trinity Alps wilderness area in Northern California has a special rate the week of May 7-13 for women only to celebrate Mother’s Day. The all-inclusive rate includes meals, a private cabin, horseback riding, and other activities.
Coffee Creek breeds its own Quarter Horses and Paints and has access to over 800 miles of trails. Typically, two rides are scheduled daily, grouped by ability level. Their breakfast ride and all-day wilderness ride are the most popular options.
Every day ranch activities such as riding, hiking, and fishing will be available, along with special classes geared towards moms. Guests can learn how to bake healthier meals with ancient grain baking, or learn how to make lotions and beauty creams using kitchen and household items. In the evening, visitors are encouraged to enjoy line dancing, bonfires, and karaoke together.
