Making Horse Shoes

If your farrier bills leave you questioning why your horse's shoes are more expensive than yours, watch this video.

Lots of labor goes in to making horse shoes!

After I watched this, I wanted to learn more about the process and in my research, I found that there's a National Museum of Horse Shoeing Tools in Oklahoma. It's run by farrier to the champions Lee Liles, who says that the museum houses the largest collection of such tools in the world.

So, this video hasn't gone viral yet, but it was sent to the Equitrekking team by Johan Nijs, so thanks Johan! Please send us your recommendations for places to ride, visit or just check out online. We like hearing from you.
