Sky Ranch is one of North America’s premiere Christian Camps, as well as a Recognized School Programs Provider, and Retreat andConference Center. With locations in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado, Sky Ranch has a variety of programs for young riders. Accredited by the American Camp Association and a Christian Camp & Conference Association Member.

While many of the regular camp programs have horseback riding at Sky Ranch, there are also special summer horse camps:

Young Riders Rodeo Summer Camp
Young Riders is a good fit for the inexperienced rider who is just beginning to learn the basics of roping, barrels, poles and goat tying. Led by World Champion Steer Wrestler Rope Myers, Sky Ranch’s Young Riders program welcomes campers entering grades 2 through 7 who are interested in learning the fundamentals of rodeo competition.

Sky Fillies Rodeo Summer Camp
For girls in 8th through 11th grade who enjoy horseback riding and are looking for a program that will challenge them physically and spiritually, girls work on advancing their knowledge of horses and riding skills and are featured stars in the weekly Sky Ranch night rodeo.

Champions Rodeo Clinnic
A mix of summer camp and rodeo training school, this camp is recommended for young people who already have some rodeo experience. Campers entering grades 4 through 12 get the chance to learn from the nation’s top rodeo experts in Sky Ranch’s two competition-sized rodeo arenas.

Elite Clinic
Join the most talented group of rodeo athletes in the USA and learn from some of the best pros in the business. This clinic, hosted by Rope Myers, focuses on extreme rodeo training and expert instruction in steer wrestling, breakaway roping, calf roping and team roping and success both in and out of the arena. Enjoy Rodeo 101, learning how to enter, trade, make travel arrangements for rodeo compeitions, horse care, health and fitness and more.

Food for Kids Camps
Sky Ranch proudly serves three kid-friendly meals each day. From pancakes and sausage to eggs and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, deli turkey sandwiches to chicken nuggets for lunch, and burgers to chicken-fried steak for dinner, entrees are always well-balanced and nutritious. Sky Ranch dining hall also has a fully stocked salad bar that contains numerous positive alternatives including pasta, mixed salads, fresh veggies and more! Not only that, a selection of fresh fruit is available at every meal as well as a peanut butter and jelly station.

Van, Texas Retreats
Whether you have a youth group of 15, a family ministry of 150 or a corporate retreat of up to 900, Sky Ranch has over 60 years of experience in helping you plan your camp or retreat experience. The Van, Texas location  in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas has cabin-style or lodge-style rooms with indoor bathrooms and comfortable accommodations. 14 meeting rooms can handle groups from 15 to 950 people.

Cave Springs, Oklahoma Retreats
Located in Northeastern Oklahoma, this 1480 acre, non-denominational facility holds all the adventure of camping, as well as all of the comforts of home. Sky Ranch has experience hosting Youth & Children's Camps, Church Retreats, Leadership Retreats, Team Building Facilitation, Strategic Planning Meetings and more.

Family Camps

Located in the beautiful Colorado Rockies, Sky Ranch Ute Trail offers Family Camp to create intentional and purposeful interactions between parents and children. Week-long sessions run June through mid-August.

Sky Ranch offers children and families a Christian camp experience with top equestrian activities, preparing kids to ride for leisure, improve their horsemanship skills or compete. With 60 years of experience, this camp has locations in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado.

Sky Ranch Van is located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas. Located outside of Tyler, we are 90 miles from the Dallas Fort Worth area and just over 100 miles from Shreveport.

Sky Ranch Cave Springs is located in the breath-taking foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Northeast Oklahoma.

In between Lake City and Gunnison, Colorado, Sky Ranch Ute Trail is nestled in the heart of the Colorado Rockies.
