Mountain Lodges of Peru offers a unique riding vacation along the Salkantay Trail to Machu Picchu, through dramatic mountain vistas and rural communities on the way to the Sacred City of the Incas.
The lodges were designed to provide first class accommodation and exceptional service to active travelers who enjoy roughing it by day but resting in style at night. Experienced and knowledgeable guides accompany small groups of up to 12 guests, with in-depth interpretation of the history and the environment of the region. Since their opening in 2007, Mountain Lodges of Peru have won several awards for their efforts in sustainable tourism and conservation.

At the end of the horse riding tour, enjoy a guided tour and time on your own to explore the amazing ruins at Machu Picchu Sanctuary!
