I love a good proposal story and recently I've been hearing stories of special proposals that revolve around horses, so I thought I'd dig up some proposal videos for horse lovers that will definitely bring a smile to your face and may also make you saw "awww."
In researching some of the popular proposal methods involving horses, I found that many men go through a whole lot to make it a special occasion. While some men take riding lessons to be able to ride up to their future bride, others transform barns into dream proposal venues and still more don heavy armor to create a medieval "knight in shining armor" proposal. Some innovative horsey proposals include:
- guys putting "marry me" signs on horses and/ or their tack
- braiding a ring into the horse's mane (sort of like the fortune cookie method- can be dangerous )
- renting armor and a horse for the "knight in shining armor" proposal (surprisingly popular)
- moonlit or sunset ride in a horse-drawn carriage
- proposal during horseback riding on the beach
- proposal during a horse show
- proposing on a riding vacation in an exotic location

Some people have even forgone a ring and instead gotten a horse trailer or even a horse as the engagement gift from their partner-to-wed.

I think this lady was surprised. It looks like the man's horse definitely wanted to continue on, but alas, his routine was broken up by love during this horse show proposal. What a great idea!
